Democrats Tried to Smear Trump With Epstein Emails — and Accidentally Proved He Wanted Epstein Gone
House Democrats thought they had their big “gotcha.” They dropped a batch of redacted 2015 emails from Jeffrey Epstein’s circle, clearly hoping the media would run wild with out-of-context headlines and recycle the tired smear that President Trump was somehow tied to Epstein’s crimes.
But — as usual — the facts blew up in their faces.
Instead of proving anything nefarious about Trump, the emails actually suggest the opposite: Trump pushed back on Epstein, opposed what he was doing, and Epstein’s own cronies were talking about using Trump for political leverage. Democrats handed over “evidence” that exonerates Trump and incriminates… their own narrative.
You can’t make this up.
The “Mar-a-Lago” Email That Completely Nukes Their Story
One of the most circulated emails shows Epstein telling Trump-hating author Michael Wolff:
“Trump said he asked me to resign… he knew about the girls as he asked Ghislaine to stop.”
Democrats and their media stenographers clipped the phrase “knew about the girls” and ran. But the context matters — which is exactly why they tried to hide it.
The full email confirms two key things:
- Trump pushed Epstein out.
This lines up with long-reported accounts that Trump banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago. - Trump told Ghislaine Maxwell to STOP.
Meaning he objected to whatever was going on. He didn’t tolerate it. He didn’t excuse it. He shut it down.
That alone ends the smear. But Democrats didn’t stop embarrassing themselves there.
The Redaction “Accidentally” Protecting… Trump
In the documents, Democrats redacted the name of an Epstein victim — claiming it was for privacy. Except she never requested redaction. And guess who the victim was?
Virginia Giuffre.
And guess what the Democrats didn’t want you to remember?
Giuffre worked at Mar-a-Lago.
She has repeatedly said Trump “couldn’t have been friendlier.”
She has sworn Trump was never inappropriate — not once.
In other words, they hid the name because it made Trump look better, not worse.
The Actual Smoking Gun: Epstein’s Side Talking About Blackmailing Trump
Another email shows Wolff urging Epstein to use his media interview to create “a debt” Trump would owe him. He literally tells Epstein to:
“Let [Trump] hang himself… you could save him… generating a debt.”
This is what blackmail looks like: strategizing about leverage.
But notice what’s missing?
Any suggestion Trump did something wrong.
Any involvement in Epstein’s crimes.
Any indication Trump owed them anything at all.
If anything, the emails read like Epstein-world frustrated that Trump wouldn’t play ball.
Democrats’ Desperation Is Showing
Democrats are flailing. Their policies are imploding, their base is exhausted, their president is polling in the dumpster, and the government is shut down because they refuse to do their jobs. So what do they do?
They throw out a stale, debunked smear and pray the headlines hit before anyone reads the fine print.
It backfired immediately.
Trump Got the Last Word — And He’s Right
President Trump responded on Truth Social with the perfect summary:
“In other words, the Democrats are using the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax to try and deflect from their massive failures, in particular, their most recent one — THE SHUTDOWN!”
Exactly.
When Democrats have nothing to run on, they run on smear campaigns.
And when those smear campaigns collapse — like this one just did — they pretend they never released them.
The truth is simple:
Trump did nothing wrong.
Epstein’s circle tried to use Trump, not the other way around.
And Democrats just accidentally proved it.
Another day, another failed hit job.
